Recently, a former Bethesda employee recounted a bug in Skyrim involving bees launching a cart into the air. Technically they've done nothing wrong, yet they've massively benefited from the situation, and they too are now unbalancing the game. The Elder Scrolls also happens to be infamous for its bugs and glitches. Rather, people now have fantastic gear because they were able to buy incredibly cheap crafting materials due to other people using the dupe. It's not simply a matter of just banning players that used the dupe, which might be hard to track as is. The problems with the bug are far, far reaching. When referring to plans for the future, the storyline planned for 2021 titled 'Gates of Oblivion' was mentioned, but focus was placed on increasing the game's stability and implementing bug fixes and patches. The accusation is that Zenimax simply ignored warnings from its own players, and didn't take action until the dupe threatened to overrun the game.
